Description
These are gas protectors used by CLEC's and AT&T to isolate OSP cable from house cabling. You would use these just before a demarc to serve as lightning protection so that surges from outside cabling would cross to building cabling and damage equipment. They are required by code when cabling is coming into a building from outside or cabling is run outside between two buildings.
