This practice provides specifications and installation instructions for the 10045 Gateway 32U

Outdoor Power Cabinet (part no. 10045-320-001).

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Gateway 32U Outdoor Power Cabinet is a pad-mounted enclosure. The cabinet has overall
dimensions of 30" wide x 66-312" high x 30" deep. The cabinet is constructed of aluminum with a
powder coat painted finish. It has a front door equipped with door latches that may be padlocked
for security. The top of the cabinet has a double wall construction to reduce the effects of solar
radiation and for structural integrity.

A 220VAC, 4000BTU/HR air conditioner with integral 48 VDC heat exchanger and a separate
48VDC fan heater are provided for controlling the temperature in cabinet.

Other equipment that is provided:

120/240 VAC 100-amp, AC load center (includes breakers)
Environmental door seals

Pad mounting collar (plinth) and gasket (rubber)

One 32U (EIA 1.75" spacing per U) mounting rail for equipment and battery shelves
One stationary battery tray, battery tie down and #6 AWG battery cable
